It'll be a wet start to the week for large portions of Florida as the Sunshine State is set to be hit by storms. Humid thunderstorms and showers are forecast for a large portion of the work week in most regions as forecasters warn that any downpour could cause temporary flooding on roadways and in poor drainage areas.

Rain is expected to continue throughout the day today as another front approaches Central Florida.

While widespread severe weather is unlikely, one or two strong thunderstorms could develop, bringing winds up to 50 mph and the risk of isolated flooding.
